Final Project

(or Slice Of Life)

Expanation:

I chose this piece of writing to revise because I did not do very good on that. That means that it is my ability to show the reader of a piece of my life, and to use imagery. I chose this piece of life to tell the reader that I don’t like computer geeks. (No offence to you computer geeks). I am going to tell you why I don’t like them.

Thee Piece:

Sick in the school, headache, mouth dry, I sit here in front of a computer that sorta lags when I am on the “google-chrome”. This of course was because of the system was crappy, and bad. I also was listening of a conversation that was basically about computers. My face started to boil, but it cooled down. Suddenly, I found myself clutching the mouse hard enough that it would break in my hand. I hate computer geeks. I have nothing that they would listen to if I started a conversation with about computers. I don’t have a single idea of how to use a windows 8.1 computer! I also don’t even know what this “Free Windows 10 Upgrade” is. But they might know. I don’t even bother, since I still needed to get some work done. (Time to do some Work!!”) Still, I had the headache, and now, my stomach is now churning. I decided that I must not let this torture continue. I decided to take a day off. But this is insane! I never took a day off! How can I go home when I have work to do?! This is absurd!! I will never allow myself to get down from schoolwork, because of a unknown cold!! Wait! Cold?! I coughed. I better go home. This might not be my first day not at school.

I went home. Soon I recovered, and went back to school the following day. I got my HW, and Classwork from all of the teachers, and then I got Double HW, and classwork. But it was worth it for not hearing the computer geeks. But I learned something. Some walls were not built to protect problems, you just have to face them.

Months later, I made those computer geeks a friendenemie. Soon, they were my friends. Cool.

About the Author:

My Name is George Moschak, and I am a “O.K” student at DeWitt Middle School. But at home, I am a really bad half-Asian. I am in Mr. Scotty's (Scott) English class. I think that I improved from the year before. I believe, that I improved my writing over the year. Unfortunately, I still see these darn writing mistakes/errors. (****!) But you can also learn from your mistakes. I made an improvement because of (a), being able to make a introductory sentence that grabs the reader in the story, (b), making at least 3 body paragraphs, which make an explanation of the topic, and c), making a concluding sentence that reflects my writing. I also improved on something else that I have no idea of. And I don’t want to do this because I am too lazy. Cool Cool.
