     The assignment I chose is from the author of substance unit. It is a paragraph about what I think an author of substance is. When revising this I checked my GUMS. I added a specific example(from book and my life). And I varied vocabulary.

Is Jeff Kenny an Author Of Substance?

        An author of substance is a writer who places you in a different world. Firstly, a great writer must create a different world through relatable characters. For example, having things in common with a character makes a story very interesting because you can relate to them throughout the story. For example, in Diary Of a Wimpy Kid Greg Heffley is just like me and other kids. We both have an annoying little brother and a rude older brother. In addition, a remarkable writer must have great story-lines. Clearly, an author of substance proves to be noteworthy by making the characters relatable and interesting.

      My name is Chyanne Nembhard and I am a 7th grader. In general I can be a bad participating student. Over the year I have changed. The thing that changed about me is that now I do all of my homework and I participate more better.
